Radio interview with Asia Calling...Dr Kang Chandararot at the Cambodia Institute of Development Study says that rising prices of goods is a global problem. "First, oil prices. Second, higher demand for rice in the world in combination with structural problems in our [Cambodian] economy. For more than one decade, we have had the same sources of growth. The garment sector has been leading the growth, followed by construction and tourism." He says that there is a need to broaden the economic base...
